Bykes 2 Tykes Helmet Distribution
Bykes 2 Tykes has 3 locations this year! We'll be fitting new helmets as part of the bike giveaway for deserving kids. You'll be selecting helmets and fitting them. The kids are so surprised and excited to be getting a new bike and helmet - it's heartwarming to share their joy and energy! Dress as a superhero!

Naptown Volunteer
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Naptown Run, Saturday, Dec. 20!
REVOLUTION3 Triathlon (REV3TRI) is looking for lead cyclists to guide runners at this Saturday’s Naptown Half Marathon & 10K/ 5K. They need 3 cyclists—one for each course. Bundle up, bring your bike, and help lead the way!
Other volunteer opportunities: Aide stations also need support. This is a great chance to cheer on athletes and back our club partner in a local race.

Bike Assembly
Bykes 2 Tykes Assembly Volunteers - Dec. 19 at 7pm
You don't need to be an expert to help assemble children's bikes for the annual Bykes 2 Tykes Program! Save the date for Dec. 19, 7-9pm at the Annapolis Boys & Girls Club.
They will also need volunteers for the bike presentations on Dec. 20 and 21! Signup below

Lights on the Bay bike ride
Mark your calendar for Bike Doctor's Annual Lights on the Bay Ride! This is a family-friendly, no-drop cruise where the only rule is: the more lights, the better. please bring a new, unwrapped toy to help make the season brighter for children in our community.
The start location is Safe Harbor at Podickory Point Marina. In case of rain, the event will be postponed.

Volunteer IMMD Riverside Run Aid station
Join Annapolis Tri Club's biggest volunteer event of the year and give back to the race community at IMMD! Sign up for as many shifts as you can and come enjoy the party. Lots of cheering and music! Friends, kids, and family are encouraged to sign up also. We need 80 volunteers! No experience necessary. Hand out water, Gatorade and other nutrition to athletes during the run.

Yoga for Triathletes
special event: yin yoga for athletes (non-athletes welcome, too) in a yin yoga class, seated poses are held for often several minutes. this passive stretching works into the body's connective tissue as well as muscles. you can expect to be challenged in a yin class to stay still, but you will leave with greater flexibility and circulation, reduced stress and anxiety, and much more energy. during this class, we'll welcome members of the annapolis tri and annapolis striders communities to explore the benefits of yin yoga on their muscles, joints, and ligaments.

Volunteer Kenzie Rose Youth Triathlon
Crabs, it's time to sign up to volunteer for the Kenzie Rose Youth Triathlon. Saturday, August 9, from 7 a.m. until about 10. Please join us as we cheer on (and keep safe) about 200 local kids, many doing their first-ever triathlon. ATC usually staffs the bike course, so please come join us. It's fun and so great to support the next generation! Sign up below!
Come support the community by volunteering to help with the youth triathlon. The Mackenzie Rose Foundation is to provide essential items to families experiencing unexpected admissions to pediatric oncology units at hospitals.

Chili-cook off and Gear Swap
Join us for chili cook-off and gear swap. There will be prizes for the top 3 chilis, chosen by attendees. The rules for the gear swap are, bring anything you no longer want, take anything you see you do want, and you must take your unclaimed items home. Hope to see you soon! Strength training for Runners
Join Coach Stefanie for a 40 minute strength session, focusing on body weight and core exercises designed to improve your running and walking. Make sure to bring a yoga mat and bottle of water. This session is free, but please register as space is limited.

The Annapolis triathlon club is hosting a free triathlon clinic for beginners. Participants will swim 10 laps, 10 min on stationary bike, and a 10 min run. We will go over the basics: equipment, transition, etc.

Off-Season Strength Training &T3
Off-season is a time to detrain and to focus on strength and conditioning to improve performance and prevent injuries. It's a time to recover from the wear and tear of competition, and to mentally recharge.
Branden Cohen from Proformance Sports Rehab & Nutrition will share his knowledge on strength training to prevent injury. After we will meet for drinks at Adams Ribs.
ATC annual meeting
The new Board of Directors will take the reins and will talk about plans for the coming year. We’ll also take time to celebrate member accomplishments from the past year. Guest speakers from Crossing Currents, Bike AAA, Revolution3, and Endurance 2 Perform will talk about opportunities open to club members in the coming year.
